FiilisMed

Healthcare on social media

FiilisMed began at the very start of my medical studies when a friend and I launched Instagram and TikTok accounts to share content about health, wellbeing and student life. The accounts quickly gained a wide following, and along the way FiilisMed became much more than a side project: it turned into a way to make an impact, to learn, and to communicate medicine in an approachable way.

Since then, FiilisMed has expanded and we’ve collaborated with both public wellbeing regions and private healthcare providers. The content is always based on reliable, up‑to‑date information, combining expertise, practical experience and the interactivity of social media.

A doctor’s voice is important online too

Alongside clinical work, I want to keep developing ways to bring medical knowledge closer to people. Social media offers a unique channel: it reaches people, sparks discussion and helps counter misinformation — especially when the voices belong to experts.

The future of FiilisMed is open now that I’ve qualified as a doctor, but the desire to produce high‑quality health content remains strong. I believe doctors have an important role in health communication — not only as sharers of knowledge, but also as conversationalists, learners and trailblazers.
